Anna Maria Courtney founded DCLA in 2002 and has since grown the Company and its reputation for progressive claims handling. Anna Maria completed her Law Degree in 1997 and went on to complete a Masters Degree in European and Comparative Law at the University of Limerick in 1999. Anna Maria found her niche in the Liability Claims Management arena and went on to complete courses in Occupational Health and Safety and more recently in Commercial Arbitration where she successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Arbitration in University College Dublin. Anna Maria has a keen interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution which has added to her claims resolution abilities.

Carmel Spaight

Liability Adjuster
Carmel has in excess of 10 years claims handling experience with specific interest in Products Liability, Motor Claims and TPPD. Carmel holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) and a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick. Carmel completed a thesis in Insurance & Risk Management as part of her primary Degree studies. She has also undertaken further studies in communication and negotiation skills which has added to her successful handling of all type of Insurance Claims.
